Incident Report: FEBRUARY 24TH

1 Mins read

What Happened?

Yesterday morning an incident was reported to us regarding our panel, throwing out a secure socket error which we then checked out one of our status pages which reported there was an outage with the our Budget node

Which we made an incident report on our main service status. We then made some changes to our IP address records temporarily and we started seeing the server coming back online but then we rebooted the server, which then reverted the changes and started seeing user drop on our budget node. We then made another incident report on our main server status and then escalated the situation and brought all teams online to debug the issue. The team then went through tons of logs and found the issue and implemented a fix for it. We then saw positive results and saw service returning to normal.

Conclusion

I want to apologize for the inconvenience yesterday. and we’ve learned a lot. We use these experiences to learn to be a better company. We will make sure to improve our procedures and be more quicker at responding to these incidents. We will also bring in more staff from different time zones to cover all hours to make sure if something comes up we can take action immediately.
